Parts marketplace: turn shelf stock into cash and find hard-to-get parts
Every workshop has parts that were ordered by mistake, couldn't be returned, or were left over after a job. Another workshop may be looking for exactly that part. Baktam's parts marketplace is a closed listing space only Baktam workshops can see: you post a for-sale or wanted ad, message each other and record the deal.

What is it for?
In the workshop
A wrong part that couldn't be returned has been on the shelf for two years.
With Baktam
List a product straight from stock; when the deal completes, it comes out of your stock automatically.
In the workshop
You ring round every parts shop looking for something hard to find.
With Baktam
Post a wanted ad. If a matching for-sale ad appears (same OEM number, or make, model and part), you get a notification.
In the workshop
A deal agreed on the phone ends in an argument about quantity and price.
With Baktam
Offer, acceptance and receipt are on record. The buyer can book the part into stock with a purchase invoice record in one click.
How does it work?
- 1
Join the marketplace
Turn it on in Settings, enter your city and display name and accept the rules. The marketplace is off by default.
- 2
Post or search
A for-sale ad has the condition (new surplus, used, refurbished), OEM number, compatible vehicles and price, with up to 6 photos. Ads stay live for 60 days.
- 3
Message and agree
The buyer writes from the ad. The seller proposes quantity and price, the buyer accepts and the ad becomes “reserved”.
- 4
Confirm receipt
The buyer confirms they received the part. Both sides can rate each other from 1 to 5.
Who uses it?
Workshop owner
Turns idle stock into cash and finds hard-to-get parts at other workshops.
Manager / workshop lead
Posts ads, answers messages and runs the deals.
This feature is part of Baktam, the garage management software that keeps the whole workshop in one place.
Frequently asked questions
Can anyone see my ads?
No. The marketplace is closed: only Baktam businesses that have joined it can see ads, and only those in their own country. Search engines and visitors who are not signed in cannot see them.
How do payment and shipping work?
Payment and shipping are between the two businesses. Baktam does not handle payment, delivery, warranty or invoicing; it provides the ads, messaging and records.
Can any part be sold?
No. Used airbag modules, seat belt pretensioners, parts whose second-hand sale is banned by safety rules, and stolen parts cannot be listed. Suspicious ads can be reported.
