Staff permissions: everyone sees their own work, the books stay with you
You don't want technicians seeing part costs, or the cashier seeing the profit report. Baktam has four roles: owner, manager, technician and cashier. Each role only sees the screens it needs, and the menu gets simpler to match.
Owner
Manager
Technician
Cashier
What is it for?
In the workshop
A technician sees the cost price of a part and discusses it with the customer.
With Baktam
Technicians never see amounts, costs or profit, and only see jobs assigned to them.
In the workshop
A record was deleted and nobody knows who did it.
With Baktam
The audit log records who changed what, and when.
In the workshop
Staff at the second branch see every branch's data.
With Baktam
Tie staff to a branch and they only see that branch's jobs and stock.
