Service reminders: remind customers before they go elsewhere
Routine servicing is the biggest reason customers come back, but if you don't remind them they go somewhere else. Baktam keeps a service date and target mileage for each vehicle, plus renewal dates such as inspection and insurance. Connect your own SMS or WhatsApp account and reminders and “your car is ready” messages go out by themselves.

How does it work?
- 1
Set a reminder
Enter a date and target mileage for the next service; if the service package has a mileage/month interval, the next service is suggested and you confirm it. Add renewals such as inspection or insurance.
- 2
Connect your messaging account
Connect your Twilio (SMS) or WhatsApp Cloud account. You pay message charges directly to your provider.
- 3
Choose the automatic messages
Car received, car ready, service reminder, renewal reminder, payment reminder. You edit the templates; name and plate fill in by themselves.
- 4
Check what was sent
The message log shows what went to whom, and when.
Who uses it?
Workshop owner
Chooses which automatic messages go out and edits the templates.
Front desk / cashier
Sees which customers are due and books them in.
Vehicle owner (customer)
Gets a message when a service or inspection is due.
This feature is part of Baktam, the garage management software that keeps the whole workshop in one place.
