Body shop and car A/C software: a panel that fits your trade

What a body shop tracks is not what an A/C specialist tracks. In Baktam you choose your business type when you sign up: general repair, body and paint, car A/C, or parts seller. Specialist fields then open on the work order, the home screen shows your job queue, and modules you don't use disappear from the menu.

  1. Body & paint

  2. A/C

  3. Work order

  4. Check-up date

What is it for?

In the workshop

In body work it gets confusing which car is in paint and which is in quality check.

With Baktam

Each work order has a stage: inspection → estimate → repair → paint → quality check → ready. The home screen shows how many cars are at each stage.

In the workshop

Claim numbers for insurance jobs get lost on paper.

With Baktam

Damage areas, operations (bodywork, paint, part replacement), insurer and claim number are on the work order.

In the workshop

Nobody writes down which refrigerant went in, and how much.

With Baktam

Refrigerant type (R134a, R1234yf, other), amount in kg, leak test result, low/high pressure and next check date are recorded; entering the date sets a reminder.

How does it work?

  1. 1

    Choose your business type

At sign-up or in Settings > Panel and modules: general repair, body and paint, car A/C, parts seller.

  2. 2

    Fill in the specialist fields

Fields that fit your trade open on the work order.

  3. 3

    Follow your job queue

Stage counts for body work; for A/C, jobs with a leak found or not yet tested, right on the home screen.

  4. 4

    Adjust the modules

Hide the modules you don't use (for example service packages or the parts marketplace) from the menu; no data is deleted.

Who uses it?

Body & paint technician

Tracks damage, stage, insurer and claim number on the work order.

Car A/C technician

Records refrigerant type, amount, leak test and next check-up.

Technician

Sees the specialist jobs assigned to them; never sees amounts.

This feature is part of Baktam, the garage management software that keeps the whole workshop in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change my business type later?

Yes, in Settings > Panel and modules. Existing work orders and data are kept, and your plan and price don't change.

I repair cars and sell parts too. Is that possible?

Yes. Repair business types have a “I also sell parts to other workshops” switch, and the parts seller panel has an “I also offer repairs” option.

Is my data deleted when I turn a module off?

No. A module that is turned off is only hidden from the menu; records and access rights stay as they are.
